How long will it take to build my new home?

For brand spanking new home, you will be looking at about 12-18 Months. Allowing time for permits, assessments, inspections, weather delays, material backorders, trade availability and other projects being on the go.

what is the timeframe for a renovation or extension?

Extensions > 6-12 Months; similar to a new build, however, it is usually a much smaller scale, but following those same guidelines to ensure your project is delivered effectively.

Renovations > 1-9 Months; pending on the scale of your renovations will determine the timeline. From simple internal additions to full kitchen or bathroom renovations, moving of plumbing, electrical and/or walls, it will vary.

How much will my project cost?

Each project is individually tailored to each client, as each one is unique in it’s own right. We take your wishes, requirements and design ideas into our quote price, ensuring the inclusions are 100% tailored to you and your build, no niggly extras just because someone else had them! It’s tailored to you!

Do I need permits or plans?

For most projects it will be a YES! To ensure the build meets guidelines, everything is up to code and the insurances are valid. However there will be some instances where a permit may not be required, although this will be determined on a case by case basis, ensuring all details and requirements are taken into consideration.

Can I live in the space during the renovation/extension?

YES, we use only local trades to build, progress and create your project into existence. This allows us to use locally sourced, high quality products, working with people we trust, who are reliable and the locals that can problem solve and be flexible with our building timeline, because sometimes it’s a little wonky donkey!

Builder vs architect: who does what?

ARCHITECT: Designs the vision for the home, including the layout, features and functionality of your space.

BUILDER: Brings the vision to life. They manage construction, the trades, timelines, and the quality of the build.
